Welcome to Our World

People are at the heart of Naumi Hotels. Heart & humanity is at the centre of everything we do. We aim to always go above and beyond and create a lasting impact.

We are a colourful brand, that celebrates diversity, inclusion, equality, community and our planet. This year we have launched Naumi Humanity, our aim for the program is to be a positive change and to give hope.

Locations

Each Naumi hotel is a testament to the city it calls home. Creating destinations that transport and inspire today’s discerning travellers through architectural spaces, artistic curations and transcending service. Brought to life by visionaries in their field, every Naumi destination is whimsical, experiential and innovative. Creating localised experiences, working with local artists and designers bring each of our properties to life.

Naumi Humanity

Naumi Humanity is the vision of Founder & Managing Director Mr Surya Jhunjhnuwala, who has a passion for design, service to guests and environmental and social responsibility. A family-based business, son Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala is Naumi Hotels CEO and Arshiya Jhunjhnuwala heads up the Naumi Humanity programme.

The goal for Naumi Humanity for 2021/22 is to help vulnerable and marginalised communities to break away from the poverty trap. With a focus on women and child food poverty, they aim to make a positive difference. Every stay at a Naumi Hotel this year will help us support our partner charities across New Zealand, Singapore, Australia & India.

This year Naumi Humanity have partnered with womens’ organizations from low income communities to create The Hope Tote bag. This up-skills the women involved and allows them to supplement their household income. The Hope Tote Bag is available for purchase for $25 at any Naumi Hotel. All proceeds go to our charities and will further help children in food poverty.

Naumi Humanity

A percentage of hotel profits also goes towards the partner charities to help fight food insecurity. By staying with us at Naumi Hotels each guest is contributing to the Naumi Humanity mission.

Across 2021/22, Naumi Humanity has outlined some key areas of support:

  • Feed over 250 children at school within New Zealand.
  • The food fortification of 100,000 children in India, supporting their nutrient component.
  • 13,000 meals for food insecure families in Singapore.
  • Provide 20 women in India, living in slum communities with employment opportunities to increase their familial income.
  • Funding of two grants to the Singapore Institute of Technology to help students further their education.

Naumi is working in conjunction with Partner Charities to make this happen:

  • Kidscan,
  • Global Development Group and World Food Program,
  • Community Foundation of Singapore,
  • Willing Hearts,
  • Srujna Charitable Trust
