A Sensory Wonderland in New Zealand

Located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Te Aro, renowned for cafes, nightlife, and art galleries along Cuba Street, Naumi Studio Hotel holds its own as the place to see and be seen. After an extensive renovation, the interiors of the historic 19th century building have been transformed into a visual feast for the senses, enthralling guests with its eclectic spaces inspired by seafaring and the literary world. The far-out interiors were designed by Auckland-based firm Material Creative with the help of many local and international artists. The floral backdrop enveloping reception was created by Art Dep’t NZ with bespoke flower lights by Angus Muir Lighting Design. The grand bar sits in the heart of the hotel surrounded by eclectic lounge areas, after cocktails the Lola Rouge restaurant awaits. The hotel rooms pack a design punch carefully blending elements of “old world meets new world” with heritage botanical print headboards, playful furniture, and eclectic colours. After all, who wants a boring hotel?
