The goal for Naumi Humanity for 2021/22 is to help vulnerable and marginalised communities to break away from the poverty trap. With a focus on women and child food poverty, they aim to make a positive difference. Every stay at a Naumi Hotel this year will help us support our partner charities across New Zealand, Singapore, Australia & India.
This year Naumi Humanity have partnered with womens’ organizations from low income communities to create The Hope Tote bag. This up-skills the women involved and allows them to supplement their household income. The Hope Tote Bag is available for purchase for $25 at any Naumi Hotel. All proceeds go to our charities and will further help children in food poverty.
This Hope Robe has been lovingly handcrafted by women from underprivileged communities in Mumbai, India. Created using cotton sari offcuts, these unique pieces are sewn together to form designs which complement Naumi’s colourful and playful aesthetic, while providing opportunities to marginalised communities – weaving together a beautiful story.
Naumi’s goal is to help vulnerable communities break away from the poverty trap. To reduce food insecurity and provide nutritional support, to children in underserved societies around the world. While providing women from these communities with upskilling and employment opportunities to increase household income.
By purchasing this precious Hope Robe you are contributing to the lives of the artisan women who crafted the piece. All proceeds go directly to our partner charities.
* The robes have been through rigorous cleaning and sanitising before being placed in your hotel room.
A percentage of hotel profits also goes towards the partner charities to help fight food insecurity. By staying with us at Naumi Hotels each guest is contributing to the Naumi Humanity mission.
