At Naumi Hospitality, we recognise the impact of our operations on the environment, and we are committed to implementing proactive measures to help protect the natural bounty and sustain it for future generations.
Going green starts with our employees. A dedication to retrain a life-time of habits is making great strides to separate waste at the hand-to-trash level. Naumi strives to decrease landfills while diverting recyclable and compostable materials to help meet the Zero Waste Singapore by 2040 goal.
Green trellises have been installed along the façade of Naumi Hotel to help keep the building cool. As less energy is needed to power the air-conditioners, we considerably reduce the amount of chlorofluorocarbon emission, which in turn, protects the ozone layer. This has earned us the SIA NPARKS Skyrise Greenery Awards in 2008 which is jointly presented by the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) and the National Parks Board (NParks), and the BCA Green Mark Gold Award by the Building & Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore.
Our drive to minimise our environmental footprint also forms the foundation of our “Go Green Initiative,” a proactive program of eco-friendly practices that reduces waste water and chemical toxicity resulting from daily hotel processes. Guests are also encouraged to join us in this initiative by reusing the towels and linens in their guest rooms.
