Peranakan Museum

The exhibits include themes like the 12-day Peranakan wedding, role of Nonyas, prominent Peranakans in Singapore’s history and more.

Singapore Art Museum

Housed in a restored 19th century mission school, it opened its doors in 1996 as the first art museum in Singapore. Also known as SAM, the museum is now a contemporary art museum. SAM has built one of the world’s most important public collections of Southeast Asian contemporary artworks, with a growing component in international contemporary art.

The Battlebox
2 Cox Terrace, Singapore 179622, MAP

Built in 1936, the Battlebox is a former WWII British underground command centre inside Fort Canning Hill in the heart of Singapore City. It was part of the headquarters of Malaya Command, the army which defended Malaya and Singapore in WWII. Today, the Battlebox is a museum that unveils the true causes behind “the worst disaster and largest capitulation in British history”.

MINT Museum of Toys

Unique museum with a vast collection of vintage toys & childhood memorabilia from around the world. Since its inauguration, the museum has expanded its collection, amassing over 50,000 items, 8,000 of which are curated for both permanent and temporary displays.

Singapore Philatelic Museum

Singapore Philatelic Museum is the custodian and curator of Singapore’s treasure of philatelic materials. The museum collections range from stamps and archival philatelic material of Singapore from the 1830s to present day, and stamps from member countries of the Universal Postal Union.
